| Preferred candidates | The program is specifically designed actively to recruit overseas students with international educational backgrounds. Only those who has passed the primary selection at the Japanese embassy in their home countries are able to apply for the course. |
| Additional Requirements from the course you are applying for. | As degree application, the criteria for application documents will be evaluated same as International Admission. Please refer the file of Submission Checklist_ICVLMXE20, which you can download by clicking the icons below Course File2. Either valid TOEFL, IELTS or the Certificate of English as the Medium of Instruction should be submitted as English Proficiency Certificates. Please upload a copy of the test score sheet/certificate. But no need to send the official score via the Educational Testing Service. *IMPORTANT* Schedule for applicants through Japanese Embassy of China is different from that of other applicants. DOCUMENTS TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT
You need to prepare two types of application documents:
a) General Documents to be Submitted Online
b) Additional Requirements from the course you are applying for (to be submitted online);

[General Requirements] *An official test score from a standardized English exam is valid for only two (2) years. At the date for document submission, scores must be within their period of validity. This file is required only for doctoral degree program applicants. The file size must be under 10MB, and any format is fine. －Academic Achievement－ In this section, please appeal your research achievements through publications, and/or major papers of which you are author or coauthor (including your bachelor's and/or master's thesis). This should include details of your qualifications, any publications with necessary summary of the content, and any other experiences relevant to your application. |
