You are advised to bring a sufficient allowance to start your new life in Tokyo. Japanese yen equivalent to about US $1,500 per month, either in cash or travelers' cheques, should be adequate to cover living expenses. In addition, you have to prepare admission fees at the time of enrolment.
If you are a scholarship recipient, please bring an adequate amount of money to cover short-term living expenses until you receive your scholarship funding.
