Arrange your own flights.
Note that you are responsible for your transportation expenses from your home to the University of Tokyo. Scholarship recipients need to follow the instructions from the scholarship foundation.

Travel date
You are advised to arrive in Tokyo during
the period notified by the School of Engineering.
  • The School of Engineering does not accept arrivals on Friday afternoons or during weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
  • The Immigration Office has warned us that if you come to Japan prematurely and try to change your visa status after arriving here in Japan, the Immigration Office might send you back to your home country to apply for your visa. Therefore, please do not plan your trip until you actually have your Student Visa in your passport in your own country.

Name

International regulations stipulate that the spelling of your name on your travel documents must be as shown in your passport.

Arrangement Results; T-cens Itinerary (Admitted/STEP4)

After you receive your itinerary from your airline company, please type the details of your itinerary (date, flight number, and arrival time in Tokyo) onto T-cens in order to share your arrival data easily with your tutor.
